We are beyond grateful to have had Nicholas from CURATE as our wedding planner! From the very beginning of our wedding planning journey until the actual day, everything felt so smooth, seamless and well-managed. What could have been an extremely stressful process was made to look surprisingly easy because Nicholas was always one step ahead, guiding us, reminding us and taking care of the details that we would otherwise have overlooked. One of the biggest advantages of having Nicholas as our planner is his 10 years of hotel wedding sales experience. His experience really showed during our food tasting and throughout the actual day reception. He understood how the hotel operates, knew what needed to be communicated to the banquet team, and was able to coordinate the flow with confidence and precision. He also helped us source and recommend the right vendors based on what we wanted — from our emcee, live band, cake artist, sound & lighting team, photographer, videographer to decorator. More importantly, he didn’t simply recommend vendors and leave us to manage them. He gave us valuable advice on how to work with each vendor and how to maximise their potential, so that everyone could contribute towards creating the best possible experience for us and our guests. One service that we found incredibly valuable was the guest list and attendance management. The LIVE table showing our attendance percentage gave our family a clear picture of the situation throughout the evening. This allowed us to manage our guests confidently and was one of the reasons our reception was able to start on time with such precision. Our family could actually enjoy the evening instead of constantly worrying about who had arrived and which tables were occupied. Nicholas also conducted rehearsals for important moments such as our grand arrival and light show before the reception. This gave us a clear understanding of what would happen on the actual night. We were able to identify potential issues beforehand, troubleshoot them and make adjustments before the guests arrived. That gave us so much peace of mind. Another thing we really appreciated was the pre-event logistics support. Nicholas helped coordinate the delivery and collection of various items such as our gown, suit, stationery, menu cards, table cards and wedding favours. These may seem like small things, but having someone reliable take care of them made a huge difference. It meant that we had more time to rest on our actual wedding day — and we genuinely felt the difference because we were in a much better condition to enjoy our own wedding. Looking back, Nicholas wasn’t just someone we hired to coordinate our wedding. He became someone we could genuinely trust throughout the entire journey. He was reliable, responsive, experienced and always willing to go the extra mile for us and our family.
